About Me

Working with people. Making knowledge useful.

I’m an agricultural economist with a PhD and over 17 years of experience connecting advisory work, digital development and farm economics. Based in Serbia, I work with advisory organisations, institutions and international project teams to turn practical challenges into solutions people can use.

My work often starts with a conversation: what takes too much time, which information is missing, or why an existing tool does not fit the way people work. From there, I help shape the approach, bring the right people together and stay involved through development, testing and implementation.

From the field to digital tools

At the Institute for Science Application in Agriculture (IPN), I coordinate agricultural advisory activities and monitor the work of around 280 advisors. Farm visits, training sessions and the review of advisory activities give me a close understanding of how systems work in practice.

That experience informs my work on Poljosaveti, a web and mobile platform used by Serbia’s agricultural advisory services. It brings together records of advisory activities, advisor certification, soil analysis and farm economic data. I have helped shape its development since 2009, translating professional needs into requirements and working with colleagues and developers on implementation, testing and improvements.

I also created and developed psss.rs, the public portal for Serbia’s agricultural advisory services, and worked on the connection between the portal and data recorded through Poljosaveti.

Making data useful

A large part of my work is about improving the quality of information before trying to draw conclusions from it. Together with colleagues, I developed farm economic forms and helped turn a process based on separate Excel files into a structured digital system. This made data entry easier for advisors and gave our team more consistent data for analysis.

I have also worked on the implementation and annual validation of Serbia’s Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN). Across these activities, I remain involved in the practical work: checking records, finding errors, improving procedures and making the resulting information useful to the people who need it.

Learning and working across borders

International projects have given me opportunities to work with advisors, researchers and partners from different countries. My work has included digital tools, training, co-creation methods, online knowledge exchange and visits that connect project ideas with real farms.

I represent the South Eastern Europe Advisory Service Network (SEASN) on the board of the International Academy for Rural Advisory Services (Internationale Akademie für ländliche Beratung - IALB), where I take part in board decisions. I also serve on IPN’s board and as SEASN’s treasurer. My current international work includes OrganicAdviceNetwork and the YOUNG EUFRAS Training Program 2026–27.

How I can contribute

I’m available for consultancy and expert assignments in agricultural digitalisation, farm economic analysis, advisory systems and training, as well as the practical delivery of international projects. I work in Serbian, English and German.
